Pre-Export Isolation

Most livestock importing countries require pre-export isolation for a period of time prior to shipping. Horizon Livestock has pre-export isolation facilities in Northern States, including but not limited to Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Minnesota.

During the isolation period, a series of operations are performed by the USDA Accredited Veterinarian who checks the export eligibility of each animal as well as applying vaccine and other preventative medical treatments based on the importing country’s health protocol.
